Nestled at 7153 E Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson, AZ 85715, United States, Gusto Osteria stands out as a local gem with a menu that’s as diverse as it is delicious.

Walking into Gusto Osteria, you’re immediately greeted by the warm ambiance that strikes a perfect balance between modern and cozy. The interior features rustic wooden accents, soft lighting, and an inviting bar area that sets the mood for a relaxed meal, whether you're dining with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with loved ones. But it’s not just the vibe that sets this place apart-it’s the food.

The menu at Gusto Osteria offers something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a hearty pasta, a fresh salad, or a perfectly seared steak. What makes Gusto Osteria truly shine is its ability to craft dishes that are both comforting and innovative. For example, their signature lasagna isn’t just your standard fare; it's a delicious blend of rich cheeses and flavorful meat sauce layered between perfectly cooked pasta, all baked to perfection.

For those who prefer lighter options, the wood-fired pizzas are a crowd favorite. The crust is thin, crispy, and the toppings are always fresh. One standout is the Margherita pizza, with its tangy tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, and a sprinkle of fresh basil. It's the perfect representation of Gusto Osteria's approach to traditional Italian flavors with a modern twist.

As for the drinks, the wine list is both extensive and well-curated, offering options that pair perfectly with any dish you choose. From local Arizona wines to international selections, you’ll find something that complements your meal just right. If you're not in the mood for wine, the cocktail menu is equally impressive, featuring craft drinks that use fresh ingredients and house-made syrups.

This little taste of Italy was just what we needed today to celebrate Mom's 92nd birthday. The food was delicious. Anthony, our waiter, was attentive, courteous, and quick. We tried the Manicotti, the Penne and Sausage, and the Pasta Primavera lunch items. All came with side salad and crunchy bread (with oil for dipping). The Primavera dish included roasted broccoli, zucchini, tomatoes, onions, and artichokes. OUTSTANDING! The chef gave Mom some ice cream and Anthony gave Mom a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie in honor of her birthday. Great experience. We will definitely be back.

First time here. Food was really good but I would say Bottega Michelangelo's is better. The waiter was great and had a great sense of humor. Very attentive. I would definitely go back.

After hiking the just less than 4 miles out of Sabino Canyon, I felt like I wanted some carbs to recharge. We stopped at Gusto for lunch and had the nicest server and the best meal. Everything was delicious, and we got four different dishes, and I can’t wait to go back. I ordered the penne with Italian sausage, and it was as good a dish as my Italian Nana could have made. The house salad and bread with dipping oil were perfect. We sat outside and shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio between the 4 of us while our 5-year-old grandson got to explore the patio. We are in town from Ohio and we will be eating there again before traveling home.

This is great Italian food served up by friendly staff. Have a good old vine Zinfandel or a great Growlers Cabernet Sauvignon, or a big ice cold draft Peroni. Then for food, Start with the Caprese salad, and then dive into Scampi Rosso and Penne Sausage. I love the food but also love that Gus (owner/cook) supports local charities like More Than a Bed, which helps out local area foster kids! Love this place! VictorB
